Find an aftermarket way to reprogram the system on your own. Go out every ~30 minutes to push "OKAY" or restart the car. This must be done each time you restart the vehicle.

Next.Really, how often has your "friend" left his "Buick" running for 30 minutes or more? Please post the model year and model of his Buick, so we can pull up the Owners Manual and show you and your "friend" that it does have an automatic engine shutoff. Since you asked the question: I would not put my dog in danger by leaving her unattended in the car for 30+ minutes. Since you had previously asked about the Aviator engine shutoff, you knew/should have known/should have asked/should have read your Owners Manual about this before you purchased your Nautilus, so "screaming" in all caps is not really necessary at this point. In the future, it wouldn't be a bad idea to go out and check on your "child" every 30 minutes anyway. Or you could have gone out and restarted your Nautilus at anytime before 30 minutes, which would have reset the 30 minute countdown. It can be shut off each start of the car with the press of a button. It is not an "issue" with Ford/Lincoln vehicles. Park car in garage, walk away from running vehicle, family and others in same building (and child, baby, dog, cat in car etc.), may die. The purpose is to prevent people from walking away from their cars with the engine running, which is easy for some people to do when they do not need to remove a keychain from the ignition containing their house/work keys etc.
As was explained to you several times previously, and as jkeaton linked to, the 30 minute engine idle shutoff is a safety feature for all passenger vehicles with push button start systems.
